Economy Remapping

ECONOMY REMAPPING works by improving the efficiency and power of the engine so that it doesn’t have to work as hard, in any given situation. Reduced throttle load and the ability to be in higher gears sooner and for longer results in marked fuel efficiency gains.

Customers will see FUEL IMPROVEMENTS of typically 8-10% on most diesel vehicles, often more when opting for our ECO remap. Great for fleets too where the savings really count.

Quantum Green™ – Good Power & Maximum Economy

  • Designed to return an improved economy in turbo diesel engines.
  • By adjusting the calibration of torque limits on the engine, at lower RPM you will benefit from additional performance and improved economy.
  • At higher RPM the software will encourage shifting up through the gearbox, to keep the engine running in its optimal performance window.
  • Quantum Green is a very popular choice with large fleet owners, where the extra mpg improvement counts on operating costs.

Quantum Blue™ – Hybrid & Power/Eco

  • The most popular remap choice, offering the best mix of power and economy in virtually all turbo diesel engines.
  • Designed to de-restrict the engine and open up the true torque and power range.
  • QuantumBlue offers a better driving experience while returning an improved fuel consumption figure.
  • Parameters are carefully managed to optimise best burn times and achieve optimum in-cylinder pressures.

Quantum Red™ – High Power & Ultimate Performance

  • Designed to fully unleash the full potential of your engine.
  • Quantum Red can be installed on both petrol and diesel vehicles.
  • Ideally used in situations where extra power and torque is required – heavy load running, looking for optimised acceleration, experiencing a wider torque window, or simply to enjoy your vehicle.

So this pops and bang remap, explained in laymans’s terms.

When driving along the exhaust note is no different. The pops and bangs occur when you come off the throttle. Unburned fuel is dumped directly into the exhaust where the heat ignites it creating the pops and bangs along with the occasional flame out the back end. This only dumps the unburned fuel in if you come off the gas above Certain rpm so it does nothing different to standard when normal driving around town etc.
